The government has held a high-level meeting with key players in the power sector to review the current electricity situation and chart strategies for future stability.

The meeting, convened this morning, at the instance of the minister of energy and green transition John Jinapor, was aimed at safeguarding consistent and reliable power supply for consumers across the country. According to John Jinapor, the government remains committed to its pledge of ensuring a stable and uninterrupted electricity supply and to continue to keep the lights on.

Discussions centered on progress made so far, prevailing challenges, projected future demand, and the implementation of strategic plans to sustain energy security.
