It follows Petrosol’s “A Decade of Excellence” Awards, held to mark the company’s 10th anniversary, which honored long-serving staff and recognized top-performing retail outlets for 2024.

The event brought together employees and dignitaries from across the country to celebrate service excellence and exceptional performance.

It follows Petrosol’s “A Decade of Excellence” Awards, held to mark the company’s 10th anniversary, which honored long-serving staff and recognized top-performing retail outlets for 2024.

The event brought together employees and dignitaries from across the country to celebrate service excellence and exceptional performance.

Chief Executive Officer of Petrosol, Michael Bozumbil, in a media interaction on the sidelines of the event, emphasized the central role of employees in driving the company’s growth.

He commended their dedication over the past decade and reiterated that Petrosol intends to leverage its human capital as a key pillar in expanding market share.

We have developed a strategic plan and that plan is to make Petrosol a major player on the market in the next 10 years. We are executing it as we go along. What has brought us to this level 10 years ago will not take us to the next level. A lot of thinking has gone in. A lot of strategic decisions have been made and we are happy to announce that the team is excited about the rolling out of that and we are eager to make Petrosol one of the major brands,” Michael Bozumbil said. We are poised to grow exponentially and the team is eager. We are a youthful team and we see the future to be bright and so we have developed a strategy for growth,” he added subsequently.

Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Employers’ Association, Alex Frimpong, who was guest of honour, stressed the critical role of dedicated employees in sustaining organizational growth and competitiveness.
Without employees, I am not sure any business can survive so employer-employee engagement becomes very important. There is no organization that can do without employees. Again, if you want to succeed as an organization, you need to look at the “people factor”. And how you can motivate them [to] generate ideas, innovate and to ensure the organization is able to achieve its objectives,” he mentioned in a sideline interview with the media.

The award for Most Outstanding Employee of the Decade went to Timothy Akook, who received a cash prize of GH¢100,000, a weekend getaway package for two, , Foreign Trip/Personal Development Exposure in 2026, a Glass/plaque trophy, a framed citation signed by the CEO, and a special feature on the company’s website and media.
