StarOil Ghana has commissioned an ultra-modern Artificial Intelligence (AI) Smart Lab at Kaledzi Memorial Basic School in Bleamezado, Volta Region, as part of its corporate social responsibility and ongoing commitment to promoting education through technology.
The initiative, undertaken in partnership with the Coral Reef Innovation Hub, was officially launched on Monday, October 6, 2025, and marks a significant milestone for the local community — being the first facility of its kind in the area.
The newly commissioned lab is equipped with cutting-edge tools to support AI learning, coding, robotics, and digital literacy, offering both pupils and teachers the opportunity to gain practical exposure to emerging technologies.
According to StarOil, the project aligns with the company’s broader vision to empower young Ghanaians with skills for the future. “Together with Coral Reef, we believe this lab will nurture the next generation of thinkers, problem-solvers, and leaders who will shape Ghana’s future,” the company stated.
StarOil also expressed appreciation to the school, the Bleamezado community, and its partners for their collaboration and support in making the initiative a success.
