The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) has called for a coordinated approach across the gas value chain to build a resilient gas economy in Ghana.
The call was made at the PIAC-Ghana Technical Consultative Workshop on Building a Resilient Gas Economy.
GNPC’s Deputy Chief Executive, Finance, Commercial & Administration, Hamis Ussif, said strengthening the country’s gas sector requires an integrated focus on supply, infrastructure, commercial arrangements and demand.
He said GNPC, as Ghana’s National Oil Company and national gas aggregator, remains committed to working with industry stakeholders to develop practical solutions that enhance the country’s energy security and maximise the economic value of its gas resources.
“On building a resilient gas economy, the entire value chain must work,” Ussif said, stressing that no single institution can address the sector’s challenges alone.
