ACEP and Solar Taxi Pursue Green Energy Technology Capacity Development

ACEP and SolarTaxi have officially signed an MoU to launch the Green Energy Technology Capacity Development Program (GET-CADEP)—a transformative initiative designed to equip young African women with practical green skills for the future of work to begin next year.

As the world accelerates toward cleaner, technology-driven energy systems, green skills have become essential for competitiveness, inclusion, and sustainable development.

Through the GET-CADEP initiative, we are bridging the gap between policy and industry, expanding access to green jobs, and empowering women to thrive in Africa’s evolving renewable energy landscape.

A just, inclusive energy transition depends on equipping the next generation with the right skills and together, we’re opening doors to green jobs and shaping the future of renewable energy.
