Africa Prosperity Network Congratulates Guyana’s President Irfaan Ali on Re-election

The Africa Prosperity Network (APN) has extended warm congratulations to President Irfaan Ali following his re-election as President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana.

In a statement issued by APN’s Executive Chairman, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, the organization commended President Ali for his resounding electoral victory, describing it as a clear affirmation of his One Guyana agenda of shared prosperity and unity across racial, political, and regional divides.

APN recalled honoring President Ali in 2024 with its prestigious Global Africa Leadership Award, in recognition of his commitment to accelerating Guyana’s development and advancing inclusive policies for the benefit of all Guyanese.

“The breadth of his recent electoral victory is a strong signal that this agenda is taking root,” the statement noted, while urging the President to continue ensuring that the country’s newfound wealth benefits citizens sustainably.

The Network also encouraged President Ali to strengthen Guyana’s leadership role within CARICOM and deepen trade, investment, and cooperation with Africa, which it described as “the ancestral home of so many Caribbean people.”

APN concluded by wishing President Ali and the people of Guyana continued success under his renewed mandate.
