COMAC Hosts Successful Petroleum Fun Games 2025 in Accra

The Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies (COMAC) has successfully hosted the 2025 edition of its annual Petroleum Fun Games (PetFun) at the Burma Camp Sports Complex in Accra.

The games featured a mix of competitive and fun sporting activities aimed at promoting wellness, teamwork, and camaraderie among industry professionals. Highlights included football, volleyball, sack races, lime-and-spoon, table tennis, tug-of-war, swimming, and traditional games such as ludu, draft, and playing cards.

Addressing participants, COMAC Board Chairman Gabriel Kumi said the event was about more than competition.

This event is about building bridges, creating bonds, and energizing our collective spirit as one industry,” he noted.

COMAC CEO Dr. Riverson Oppong praised the strong turnout and teamwork displayed.

PetFun has proven once again that beyond competition lies collaboration, and beyond the pump lies a stronger, healthier community powering Ghana’s economy,” he said.

A standout feature of this year’s games was a free medical screening exercise led by COMAC in partnership with the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC). Participants benefited from vital health checks, laboratory tests, wellness talks, and free basic medications, reinforcing the industry’s commitment to workforce well-being and corporate social responsibility.

With vibrant participation from employees, supporters, and partners, PetFun 2025 was hailed as a resounding success.
