Ghana’s Minister for Energy and Green Transition, John Jinapor, has met with a delegation from the West African Gas Pipeline Company (WAPCo), led by the company’s new Managing Director, Mr. Abiodun Bodunrin. He takes over from Ms. Michelle Burket, who previously held the role.
Discussions during the meeting centered on areas of mutual interest, particularly WAPCo’s strategic role in Ghana’s energy sector and opportunities for deepened collaboration.
Mr. Bodunrin reaffirmed WAPCo’s commitment to supporting Ghana’s energy transition agenda, pledging the company’s continued partnership in advancing the country’s long-term energy security and sustainability goals.
