Ghana Participates in Global Nuclear Energy Conference in Paris

The Deputy Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Hon. Richard Gyan-Mensah (MP), has represented Ghana at the 2025 Roadmaps to New Nuclear Ministerial Conference in Paris, France.

The high-level conference convened energy ministers, policymakers, and experts from across the world to deliberate on the role of nuclear energy in advancing the global transition to clean and sustainable energy sources.
Hon. Gyan-Mensah participated in discussions on strategies for expanding nuclear power capabilities, stressing Ghana’s commitment to pursuing sustainable and innovative solutions for its energy future.

Ghana is taking steps to add nuclear energy to our energy mix. This is an important platform to learn from best practices to guide our country as we go through this important process,” he stated.

The gathering also provided an opportunity for international collaboration and the exchange of knowledge on the latest developments in nuclear technology and policy frameworks.
