GNPC Hosts Eswatini Petroleum Delegation to Share Ghana’s Oil and Gas Experience

The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) is hosting a three-member delegation from the Eswatini National Petroleum Company (ENPC) on a study visit aimed at learning from Ghana’s petroleum-sector experience and exploring opportunities for collaboration between the two national oil companies.

The delegation, led by ENPC Board Member Dumezweni Dlamini, held discussions with GNPC Management, headed by Chief Executive Officer Kwame Ntow Amoah, to gain insights into the Corporation’s evolution, operating model and Ghana’s journey in developing its petroleum industry.

Discussions focused on GNPC’s upstream operations, its role as Ghana’s National Gas Aggregator, capacity-building initiatives and strategies for creating value across the petroleum value chain. GNPC Management also shared lessons from the Corporation’s formative years, including the development of policy, regulatory and commercial frameworks as Ghana’s oil and gas industry expanded.

ENPC Chief Executive Officer Nontombi Motsa said the visit offers an opportunity for Eswatini to draw on GNPC’s experience as ENPC strengthens its institutional capacity and evaluates structures needed to support the growth of its petroleum sector.

GNPC reaffirmed its commitment to supporting ENPC through technical cooperation and capacity development initiatives where required.

As part of the visit, GNPC will facilitate further engagements for the delegation with key institutions across Ghana’s petroleum value chain to deepen knowledge exchange and strengthen bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.I can also adapt it into a shorter newspaper-style report or a corporate press release format.
