The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) has joined the nation in mourning the death of former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, whose contributions to governance, women’s empowerment and national development have left a lasting imprint on Ghana’s history.
On Friday, the GNPC leadership, led by Chief Executive Kwame Ntow Amoah and accompanied by members of Management and the Board, attended her state funeral at Independence Square to honour her memory and pay their final respects.
In a statement, the corporation described Nana Konadu as a distinguished national figure whose courage, advocacy and commitment to social justice transformed lives and strengthened Ghana’s democratic fabric.
GNPC extended its condolences to the Agyeman-Rawlings and allied families, praying for comfort during this period of grief.
Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings is remembered as a trailblazer whose legacy will continue to inspire generations.
