The GOIL Staff Durbar, Service Awards and Thanksgiving ceremony was a significant occasion marked by pride, gratitude and reflection, as employees and management gathered to celebrate the company’s collective journey.
The event provided an opportunity to recognise and honour long-serving staff who have dedicated between 10 and 30 years of service to the organisation, acknowledging their consistency, commitment and invaluable contributions to GOIL’s growth and resilience over the years.
It also served as a moment to celebrate retiring staff, whose years of dedicated service were formally acknowledged as they transitioned into a new chapter beyond active service.
Addressing the gathering, Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Mr. Abambire Bawa, urged staff to remain focused and committed to the ongoing efforts to rejuvenate the fortunes of the company, stressing the importance of teamwork and shared responsibility in achieving GOIL’s strategic objectives.
The ceremony was attended by the Board Chairman, Nana Phillip Archer, members of the Board, and the Management team, underscoring the leadership’s support for staff and appreciation of their contributions to the company’s success.
