At a high-level stakeholder engagement in Accra the final leg of a nationwide tour with dealers from the South, South-East, and Tema Zones, Group CEO and Managing Director, Mr. Edward Abambire Bawa, announced a series of forward-looking interventions already underway across GOIL’s operations.
Key highlights of the engagement included:
- Launch of the GOIL Fuel Management System, a cutting-edge platform designed to improve inventory tracking, operational efficiency, and transparency across the supply chain.
- Upcoming installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging ports at select GOIL service stations to support Ghana’s growing EV market.
- A strategic partnership with the DVLA to help shape the development of EV infrastructure nationwide.
- Ongoing renovation of more than 270 GOIL stations, incorporating smart technologies to enhance service delivery and customer experience.
- An appeal for consistent government support, particularly in the fair and timely allocation of laycans to ensure stable and uninterrupted fuel supply.
Mr. Bawa emphasized that GOIL is not only fueling vehicles but also powering innovation:
