The Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) has issued a strong warning to the public over the circulation of fraudulent advertisements and fake websites falsely linked to the company.
In a statement released by its Corporate Affairs Department, GOIL clarified that it has not launched any investment scheme or programme promising returns on shares or fuel cards.
“These advertisements and websites are Fake and have not been authorized by GOIL,” the statement emphasized. “Any use of GOIL’s name, logo, or image in such promotions is fraudulent and intended to deceive the public.”
The company urged Ghanaians to disregard such scams and to avoid interacting with individuals or platforms promoting them. GOIL further advised the public to rely only on its official communication channels for verified information:
