PARLIAMENT’S ENERGY COMMITTEE VISITS GOIL PLC

The Parliamentary Select Committee on Energy has paid a working visit to GOIL PLC as part of its oversight responsibilities.

Led by Group CEO & Managing Director, Mr Edward Abambire Bawa, GOIL Management engaged the Committee on the Company’s operations, strategic investments, fuel security role, ongoing expansion projects and key industry challenges.

Albert Tetteh Nyakotey, Member of Parliament for Yilo Krobo, on behalf of the Committee described GOIL as “Ghana’s pride”, noting that the visit was to deepen the Committee’s understanding of the Company’s operations and its role in ensuring fuel security across the country.

The interactive session also covered GOIL’s downstream operations, Cylinder Recirculation Model, GOBitumen, upstream activities, local product sourcing, EV charging plans and the Company’s drive to sustain its market leadership.

The Committee commended Management for the comprehensive engagement and encouraged GOIL to continue building on its gains.
