SolTedd Energy, in partnership with Société Générale and TECHAiDE, has commissioned a fully solar-powered digital library at the Osu Salem Road Presbyterian School, a century-old institution that continues to shape education in Ghana.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability agenda, SolTedd Energy designed and installed an off-grid solar system to provide reliable, clean energy to the facility. The system powers lighting, fans, computers, projectors, and is equipped to support future expansion, including a 1.5HP air conditioner.
According to the company, the initiative reflects its broader mission of advancing renewable energy solutions that empower communities. By ensuring uninterrupted electricity for the library, the project is expected to enhance digital learning, promote innovation, and improve equal access to educational resources.
School authorities and partners described the project as a significant step forward in leveraging technology and sustainable energy to transform education.
