Star Oil has issued a statement addressing allegations made in a viral Facebook video by a user identified as “Goshers.” The individual claimed he was short-changed after purchasing fuel at the company’s station in Anyinase, near Elubo.
According to Star Oil, a thorough internal investigation was conducted, which included reviewing CCTV footage and performing a flow-rate verification test. The company noted that the findings did not support the claims of foul play.
Management further explained that recent fuel price adjustments may have contributed to the customer’s misunderstanding of the transaction.
