Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) Ltd. was delighted to host and show science students from Mfantsipim School, Cape Coast, around our processing plant as part of an educational visit of our facility.
The visit gave them hand-on insights to complement what they learn in the classroom. They had a clear appreciation of how the refinery operates in practice; from receiving crude oil to storing it, the main process of distillation, product testing, and managing utilities and the environment, among other things.
Beyond the technical exposure, the real impact lies in inspiring the students to realize the potential and possibilities within Ghana’s energy and industrial space.
Opening our doors to the next generation is still an important aspect of our journey as TOR continues its operational recovery and transformation initiative.
