Tullow books Noble drillship for Ghana campaign

Tullow Oil has awarded Noble Corporation a contract for the Noble Faye Kozack drillship for a drilling campaign offshore Ghana.

The 2013-built drillship is expected to undertake up to 10 wells under the contract, with operations scheduled to begin in mid-2027 following the completion of its current work for Petrobras offshore Brazil.

The Noble Faye Kozack has been working for Petrobras since July 2024.

“This award reflects the strong working relationship between Tullow and Noble and the performance our crews continue to deliver offshore Ghana,” said Blake Denton, Noble’s senior vice-president of marketing and contracts.

The award follows Tullow’s November 2025 contract with Noble for the Noble Venturer. The $171 million deal covers an estimated 360 days of work across two phases, with an option priced for one additional well.
