The Petroleum Hub Development Corporation (PHDC) on Monday, July 28, 2025, held high-level discussions with a consortium of five investment and engineering firms exploring potential collaboration on Ghana’s ambitious Petroleum Hub project.
The consortium includes local partner IBS Dolphin Ltd, Egypt-based Gharably Integrated Engineering Co. (GIECO), Worldwide Container Services, an international marketing agency, and a global consulting firm specializing in equipment, logistics, and project management.
The visiting team engaged with PHDC’s Deputy Chief Executive Officers, Onasis Rosely (Operations and Technical) and Halimatu Sadia Abdulai (Finance and Administration), in a wide-ranging conversation covering investment potential, infrastructure strategy, and partnership frameworks.
Describing the Petroleum Hub as both “ambitious and achievable,” Onasis Rosely emphasized the project’s alignment with Ghana’s long-term energy goals and its potential to address Africa’s broader energy supply and industrialisation challenges.
