PHDC Launches Second “Let’s Go to Asia” Initiative in Japan

The Petroleum Hub Development Corporation (PHDC) has kicked off the second edition of its flagship “Let’s Go to Asia” initiative in Japan, coinciding with the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD-9).

The programme is designed to deepen Ghana-Japan cooperation by connecting Ghanaian businesses with Japanese public and private sector institutions. It provides a platform for building new partnerships, strengthening existing relationships, and facilitating knowledge exchange to drive economic and industrial growth.

Participating Ghanaian companies in this year’s Japan segment include Rockfield Mining & Construction Ltd., Strategic Initiatives Ltd., and Archxenus Company Ltd., who will engage Japanese counterparts in discussions on potential investment, trade, and technology opportunities.

The PHDC’s “Let’s Go to Asia” initiative is part of Ghana’s broader strategy to diversify international partnerships, attract investment, and position the country as a key hub for energy and industrial development on the continent.
