GOIL delivered a standout performance at the 2026 PETFUN Games held at the Burma Camp Sports Complex, showcasing sporting excellence, teamwork, discipline and the Company’s signature “Good Energy” spirit.
The petroleum company secured five gold medals across a number of competitive disciplines, emerging victorious in Men’s Volleyball, Women’s Volleyball, Swimming, Lime and Spoon, and the Women’s Sack Race.
GOIL’s impressive showing extended beyond the sporting events, with the Company receiving two special recognitions: Best Performing Organization and Most Organized Organization. The awards highlighted the team’s strong performance, coordination and organization throughout the Games.
The GOIL contingent was led by Chief Operating Officer Dr. Marcus Deo Dake, alongside Head of Corporate Affairs Robert Kyere, Head of Technical and Special Products Marketing Joshua Kwabena Duodu, and other members of Management, who joined staff to support and cheer the athletes.
The PETFUN Games also brought together staff a number of organizations from across the petroleum industry, providing a platform for participants to compete, build professional relationships and strengthen bonds in an atmosphere of healthy competition and camaraderie.
GOIL’s performance at the Games underscores the Company’s commitment to teamwork, employee engagement and excellence both on and off the field.
