GOIL PLC Strengthens Emergency Preparedness with Fire Drill at Head Office

GOIL PLC conducted a comprehensive fire drill exercise this morning as part of its unwavering commitment to safety and emergency preparedness. The exercise, organized in collaboration with the Ghana National Fire Service and the Ambulance Service, tested evacuation procedures, firefighting skills, and emergency response measures – reaffirming the company’s dedication to safeguarding staff, customers, and facilities.
The event, held at the company’s Head Office in Adabraka, brought together staff, safety officers, and emergency response teams to assess readiness in the event of a fire outbreak. The drill simulated a real-life fire scenario, enabling employees to practice evacuation procedures, operate firefighting equipment, and coordinate effectively with professional firefighters and paramedics.
Speaking after the exercise, Head of HSSEQ, Ing. Marian Thompson-Fordjor, emphasized that safety remains a top priority for GOIL:
