The Government of Ghana is holding negotiations with Springfield Exploration and Production Limited (SEP) on a potential state-led acquisition of the company’s interest in the West Cape Three Points Block 2 (WCTP2).
According to spokesperson of the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition Richmond Rockson on his Facebook page, the discussions are ongoing and form part of broader efforts to strengthen national participation in the upstream petroleum sector. Further details are expected as talks progress.
