Ahwomaso Power Plant following the successful completion of its tie-in to the national transmission grid by the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo).With the grid connection completed, the facility is expected to add about 141 megawatts of generation capacity to the national grid, providing a significant boost to electricity supply for households, businesses, and industries, especially in the middle belt of the country.The minister’s visit underscores government’s commitment to expanding power generation capacity, strengthening system reliability, and safeguarding Ghana’s long-term energy security.
