Energy Minister Engages TOR Management on 2025 Performance, 2026 Priorities

The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, John Jinapor, has held a strategic engagement with the management of the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) to review the refinery’s performance in 2025 and outline key priorities for 2026 and beyond.

The meeting served as a platform to assess progress made over the past year and to align on forward-looking strategies aimed at improving operational efficiency, ensuring financial sustainability, and enhancing TOR’s long-term value to the energy sector.

Speaking during the engagement, the Minister commended the Managing Director of TOR, Edmond Kombat, Esq., and his management team for what he described as strong and transformational leadership, particularly in steering the refinery through a challenging period inherited by the current administration.
He noted that the team’s commitment, resilience, and strategic focus are beginning to yield positive results, while also laying a solid foundation for the refinery’s future growth and stability.
