BOSTenergies Limited has recorded a significant improvement in its financial performance, with revenue surging by 195% to GH¢3.81 billion in 2025.
The company’s profit after tax also increased by 72% to GH¢684 million, reflecting what the Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Dr John Abdulai Jinapor, described as a strong performance.
Dr Jinapor made the remarks when he joined the Board, Management and staff of BOSTenergies Limited at the company’s 2026 Annual General Meeting.
He commended the company for its financial performance and described its decision to pay a five percent dividend to the Government of Ghana as a major milestone.
According to the Minister, the dividend payment is the first of its kind in the company’s history and demonstrates the capacity of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) to generate value for the Ghanaian people.
He urged BOSTenergies to build on the gains by strengthening Ghana’s strategic petroleum stocks, modernising critical infrastructure, improving operational efficiency and expanding its commercial reach.
Dr Jinapor further stressed that BOSTenergies has a critical role to play in Ghana’s energy security as the country pursues its economic transformation agenda and the implementation of the 24-Hour Economy.
He said the company must remain central to efforts to strengthen energy security and support sustainable national development.
