The Managing Director of the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR), Mr. Edmond Kombat, together with members of the refinery’s audit team, is participating in the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) conference in Singapore to strengthen internal audit practices and governance systems at the refinery.
Internal audit remains a critical component of TOR’s operations, supporting effective risk management, process improvement, and enhanced operational controls.The three-day conference has brought together audit and governance professionals from across the world to share experiences, exchange ideas, and explore emerging trends in internal audit, governance, and risk management.
According to TOR, the engagements and insights gained from the conference will contribute to improving the refinery’s operational efficiency and governance framework.The conference is expected to conclude on June 24, 2026.
