Five people remain missing after an offshore drilling rig, Prospector 5, sank in Gabonese waters on Saturday evening, with search-and-rescue operations continuing.
The jack-up rig reportedly lost stability and sank during preparations for a planned drilling campaign in the Dussafu licence area.
Of the 115 people aboard the rig, 110 have been accounted for, while authorities and rescue teams continue efforts to locate the five missing workers.

In a statement, industry representatives extended their condolences and support to the people of Gabon and the personnel of BW Energy, Panoro Energy, Gabon Oil Company and Borr Drilling following the incident
