Energy Minister Meets SEforALL CEO to Strengthen Collaboration on Energy Access and Sustainability

The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Dr. John Abdulai Jinapor, has held discussions with the Chief Executive Officer of Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL), Damilola Ogunbiyi, on strengthening cooperation between Ghana and the global energy organization.

The meeting focused on deepening collaboration to support Ghana’s energy transition agenda and advance national priorities in energy access, sustainability, and economic development.

Dr. Jinapor commended SEforALL for its global leadership in promoting universal access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy. He also acknowledged the organization’s key role in supporting Mission 300, an initiative aimed at connecting 300 million people across Africa to electricity by 2030 while accelerating inclusive economic growth on the continent.

The Energy Minister emphasized Ghana’s appreciation of SEforALL’s continued partnership and support in expanding electricity access, promoting renewable energy solutions, mobilizing investment, and driving sustainable development.

He noted that collaboration with global partners such as SEforALL remains critical as Ghana works towards building a resilient and inclusive energy sector that supports industrial growth and improves the livelihoods of citizens.
