Jinapor Leads Ghana Energy Stakeholders in World Bank Energy Sector Recovery Talks

Key stakeholders in Ghana’s energy sector are engaging the World Bank this week as part of the Ghana Energy Sector Recovery Programme for Results (PforR) Implementation Support Mission.

The mission, being led by key sector stakeholders including the sector Minister Dr John Abdulai Jinapor, is providing an opportunity to assess progress made under the programme, review implementation priorities, address emerging challenges and strengthen collaboration among stakeholders.

The engagement is also expected to help identify practical measures to accelerate the implementation of critical reforms aimed at improving the performance of Ghana’s energy sector.

The stakeholders and the World Bank are working towards a shared objective of building a more reliable, financially sustainable and resilient energy sector capable of supporting Ghana’s economic growth and development.
