The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) has held its 2nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Accra, bringing together key stakeholders to review the Corporation’s performance, reaffirm its strategic focus, and chart a path for future growth.
The meeting, chaired by Prof. Joseph Oteng-Adjei, Board Chairman of GNPC, was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition led by the sector Minister, John Abdulai Jinapor officials from the Ministry of Finance, and other major stakeholders within Ghana’s energy sector.
In his address, Acting Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kwame Ntow Amoah, reaffirmed GNPC’s commitment to value creation, innovation, and sustainable growth, in line with the Corporation’s operational theme, “Consolidating Our March Towards Operatorship.”
Key highlights of the meeting included progress on the Voltaian Basin Project, the near completion of the GNPC Research & Technology Centre, and ongoing efforts to strengthen environmental, social, and governance (ESG) integration across operations. GNPC also reported steady advancement in key upstream and midstream projects as part of its long-term goal of becoming a full operator in Ghana’s oil and gas sector.
Reiterating its forward-looking vision, GNPC pledged to continue working closely with government, regulators, and industry partners to build a resilient, innovative, and sustainable energy future for Ghana.
